TEENAGERS

Every adult - a parent , a teacher or an orthodox human being - is found to be complaining about irrational manners exhibited by TEENAGERS. They should not forget that TEENAGERS are passing through the most confusing phase of their life when the most important transition, both physical and mental is going on in one's life. Teenagers are,in fact, very conscious of their differences with the grownups and the way the adults condemn their dressing style, taste and behaviour but they seem to avoid it all. They want to live according to what they feel gives them the thrill of life and therefore they don't care for the opinions of others, nor do they try to get approval of their adults. The fault lies in the social as well as economical environment brought about by previous generations. Moral values are preached loudly but everybody is running behind material happiness. We have commercialised LIFE where 'enjoyment' is the prime goal and all our education system does is to concentrate more on success in terms of money and power and not on the true ways to achieve that.Teenagers are more sentimental and they fail to discriminate between moral and immoral behaviour. For them anything that gives "FUN" is moral and sacred. Before blaming them we must ask ourselves what we did when we were passing through that phase of life.....and one should think twice before saying "I did not do this or that..." because the reason behind doing or not doing something may be YOU DID NOT GET A CHANCE...and not that YOU WERE HONOURING MORALITY.
